Chest Pain Evaluation Center reaccredited

St. Francis has been recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers (CPC) for exceeding quality-of-care measures in acute cardiac medicine.

St. Francis recently received Cycle II accreditation with PCI from the society. This designation is based on how well physicians and staff perform in reducing time to treatment during the early stages of a heart attack and in monitoring patients when it’s not clear whether they are having a coronary event.

St. Francis was first accredited in 2005—the first Indianapolis-area hospital to receive the Society of Chest Pain Center’s accreditation.
