The St. Francis Cancer Center–Mooresville provides outpatient radiation and medical oncology care to the community in and around Morgan County. The 9,000-square-foot outpatient facility includes:
- State-of-the-art capabilities, including a new Varian linear accelerator that offers patients Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), one of the most precise and sophisticated radiation treatments available today.
- A Simulator used to plan radiation therapy treatments, enabling physicians to simulate and test treatments prior to the actual use of radiation.
- Aesthetically pleasing design, with warm colors, appealing artwork, private changing rooms, and lighted, floor-to-ceiling panels featuring nature scenes for a relaxing treatment environment.
- Private consultation rooms that enable patients to meet with oncologists and other medical staff.
