The Spiritual Care team supports your spiritual and emotional needs and honors your personal cultural and spiritual beliefs and values through:
- Patient and family visits for support
- Pre-surgery visits
- Presence at crises and deaths
- Listening through stressful moments
- Support during difficult decisions
- Assist with advance directives
- Noon and 8 p.m. prayer
- Quarterly memorial service for loved ones who have died
- Sacramental requests
- 24-hour presence in the hospitals
- Chaplains from various denominations
Chapels and Prayer Rooms 
Each of our locations offers beautiful and quiet settings that are ideal places for private meditation and prayer. Chapels are open 24 hours a day.
- Beech Grove: The St. Clare Chapel, named for the women converted by St. Francis who founded the Poor Clares, is located on the first floor by elevators 13 to 15.
- Indianapolis: The Portiuncula Chapel, named for the first chapel that St. Francis built, is located on the first floor to the south of the St. Francis Heart Center.
- Mooresville: The San Damiano Chapel, named for the cross that spoke to St. Francis, is located on the second floor opposite the dining room.
