Diabetes Self-Management Series

Designed for: Adults with diabetes

Description: Twelve hours of class, including a three-month follow-up session. Basic diabetes information is covered, including the following topics:

• Nutrition
• Exercise
• Medications and prevention
• Detection and treatment of high and low blood sugar

Location: All classes and individual instruction are offered either at the St. Francis Diabetes & Endocrinology Center near St. Francis Hospital—Indianapolis or in the St. Francis Education Center.

Cost: May be covered by your insurance company. A physician’s referral may be required.
