From partial replacements to minimally invasive surgical techniques to total joint replacement and advanced post-op pain control, you'll experience outstanding care from some of the leading orthopedic specialists in the country.

The Joint and Spine Care Team is made up of:

• board-certified orthopaedic surgeons
• interventional radiologists
• trained orthopaedic nurses
• physical therapists
• Internal medicine physicians.

Our team of fellowship-trained, experienced surgeons are involved in research to advance in the field of joint replacement.

Services: Having a hip or knee replaced used to be only for the elderly. But, now with the advancements in techniques and materials - some of which are being pioneered at St. Francis - patients in their 50s (and even younger) are getting relief from the pain and loss of mobility caused by deteriorating hips and knees.

Come be a part of Joint and Spine Camp, an innovative rehabilitation and recovery program for joint replacement and spine patients. It emphasizes wellness and uses a group approach, while promoting teamwork and camaraderie. Through group exercise and activities, including “camp fires” patients form informal support networks with others who are going through the same experience. Progressive pre- and post-operative patient education materials are used.
